Some weather reveals a landscape. Other weather makes it briefly unknowable.
These photographs follow the latter: fog, low cloud, and wind as forms of subtraction. The landmarks go first. What remains is distance, surface, and the small evidence of a way through.

The creek keeps its direction after the horizon disappears.

The path was visible only where the grass had remembered it.

By noon the tree line had returned.
